Case Study
The leadership within the UTOPIA project wanted an identifying mark that would be distinctive and capture the spirit of the program's goals: worldwide access to resources for life-long learners and explorers. At the same time, they wanted the logo and visuals to work harmoniously with the university's already established branding.
Results
To meet these requirements, I designed a visual mark using bright, cheerful colors and universal iconic forms with positive energy and upward momentum. The "UTOPIA" concept now met with immediate approval and enthusiasm from the committee and the project leadership — the university's Vice-President for I.T. and the Vice-President for Resource Development.
